GALACTAMELANIN

The Black creative sector often faces structural barriers to visibility, funding, and strategic partnerships, limiting opportunities for collectives to scale their impact and influence cultural narratives. In response, I joined GALACTAMELANIN, a dynamic and influential Black creative collective, as Business Development Manager and led the full partnership cycle from initial pitch to deal closure.Using strategic pitch development, stakeholder engagement, and campaign management, I secured partnerships with world-class brands, including Atlantic Records and Chivas Regal and managed relationships to ensure successful activation. Along the way, I navigated challenges around aligning creative integrity with brand expectations. The project resulted in high-profile collaborations, increased visibility for the collective, and established a blueprint for strategic brand engagement, ensuring GALACTAMELANIN continues to amplify Black creativity and cultural expression at scale.
