As the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust transitioned to Blueprint for All and the Lawrence family established the new Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation, the organisation faced the challenge of reintroducing Stephens legacy to a new generation. I was selected as one of the Black British creatives to feature in the Foundations Black History Month 2020 launch film, taking on an on-screen role in a national campaign that championed hope, equity, and community resilience. This project marked a pivotal moment in reconnecting young people with Stephens story during a year defined by renewed conversations about justice and inclusion. In April 2021, I joined the Foundations creative strategy team to support the relaunch of Stephen Lawrence Day. Using youth-centred storytelling, cultural insight, and campaign development, I helped shape how the Foundation engaged Gen Z audiences while maintaining sensitivity around Stephens legacy. Through collaborative ideation, feedback sessions, and community-led creative testing, we developed a campaign that strengthened the Foundations reach across classrooms, communities, and career initiatives. The resulting work ensured Stephens story continues to inspire young people to imagine and build a fairer, more inclusive society.
